NEW Commemorative Editions (Giclee) Prints

From the Watercolour Skies archive, we are pleased to offer a number of previously unpublished works by Alan Ingham. Currently we offer two collections:

  • Fells and Dales is a collection of views which travel across the Lake District through the connecting vales to the Western and Northen regions of the Yorkshire Dales.
  • Cotswolds typifies 'Englands Green and Pleasant Land' dotted with ancient ochre-coloured stone Saxon villages connected by roads originally laid by Romans.
  • Rosie's Choice is a series of ecclectic paintings which has been inspired by Alan's wife Rose and which are some of her most favourite of Alan's works
  • Bella Italia is a small and beautiful series of paintings inspired by a journey to the Italian Lakes and Venice

High Quality Reproductions

All the paintings have been faithfully reproduced by state-of-the-art  technology using the Giclee printing technique. It offers the highest quality of reproduction on fine museum grade paper. The result is a beautiful and faithful reproduction maintaining the full integrity and detail of the of the original.

 

Limited Commemorative Editions

Each edition is limited to a number of 195 prints. Although Alan is no longer around to personally to offer his personal signature, each print is accompanied by a certificate of authentication and the signature of Rose Ingham which is her confirmation of, and agreement to the publication by this process.

Each reproduction is offered as a faithful facsimile of the original. Alan mainly kept to a limited number of 6 sizes and ratios which can be described as a standard oblong (horizontal and vertical) and 'panoramic' a wide format for which he became well known. Each reproduction is offered as close as possible to the same size as the original (Price bands A, B,C, D and E).

 

The largest size of painting is 55 x 75 cms. When mounted and framed the painting is a substantial item which may be too large for an average room or hanging space. Therefore the largest sized pictures are offered in two sizes i.e. same size and 75% of same size (25% reduced as shown in size price code A). In the reproduction details you are offered the option of same size or reduced size. Please note the number of Limited Commemorative Edition remains the same at 195.
