January 2012 - Greeting card publisher chooses 'Winter in Wharfedale' for Christmas
Watercolour Skies owner Nick Mole was delighted to receive a request from one of the most eminent authorities of British greeting card publishing Mr. Julian Royle and his wife Sarah to produce their Christmas greeting card for 2011. Mr. Royle was Managing Director of Royle Publishing of London established in 1833. During the 1970's and 80's Royles reproduced many of Alan Ingham's paintings as high quality cards and corporate calendars as well as open edition prints such as 'Down from the Hills'.
August 2011- New Watercolour Skies website
We are pleased to announce a new and extended Watercolour Skies website. In 2008, a simple website was established as a small tribute to Alan and his work. It seemed appropriate in the light that he achieved such accolade in 2005, but more importantly, a great following of appreciative people around the world which had come in contact with, and followed his work. This new webiste is to present Alan how he was, and how he will wish to be remembered - like him in an honest and modest way.
Successful Watercolour Skies 'In Fells & Dales' Exhibition July-September 2010

The first exhibition since his death in 2002 was held at Farfield Mill Arts and Heritage Centre in Sedbergh, Cumbria. This small market town on the western fringe of the Yorkshire Dales National Park played host to a successful showing of originals loaned by Mrs. Rose Ingham and a selection of high-quality giclee reproductions especially commissioned for the exhibition. Many of the paintings were of local views in surrounding valleys including Ribblehead Viaduct and Ingleborough Head. The signature image was 'In the Heart od the Dales', a classic Ingham picture of the village of Litton in The National Parks Littondale valley. Of the giclee reproductions Rose Ingham the wife of Alan commented "I have never seen Alan's work reproduced so faithfully and in such high quality. These prints are simply stunning".
It is hoped that Alan's work will be shown in other regions of the country, but the response to 'In Fells and Dales' was outstanding, securing contributions to the Farfiled Mill Trustees.
